Just acquired a 75 Swallowtail. Radio delete, side glass defrost delete, rubber mat, small shifter boot, no design on door cards. It also has drum brakes in the front. It is a very base Rabbit. Delft Blau. ;D
I need to locate front bucket seats for it. The rear seat is there. Darker tan houndstooth material.
Would this car have came with short buckets?
Thanks, Dennis

Great ! The "basic" Rabbit by excellence ! The door cards are not very common ... looks like a Daytona Indy racing car ! Funny to compare the "big" US bumpers to our tiny European ones too; same car but body builded ;D For your seats, it seems the swallow ones were Beetle ones, at least in Europe. You could search for 1973/1974 beetle seats ?! Harald

Very funny basic swallowtail It's very difficult to find original VW chrome bumpers (and expensive). You can find repro but sometimes in bad quality for the price. [opportunistic ON] I search Rabbit bumper for my pick-up but shipping USA to France is not easy with sellers. If you have the same problem for France to USA, we can do a deal ... I have a front one in CA since one year [opportunistic OFF]
