I don't know when the change came, but there are apparently at least two different styles of headlight buckets. The early ones that fit my 75 have the adjusters inside the engine bay on long threaded rods. The later style ones have the adjusters on the "face" of the bucket. They also won't fit my 75 without some minor clearancing of the core support. If anyone can verify this and provide more facts, it would be a good one for the oddities page.

Crap. Wish I knew to look at that this weekend. The one I found was a 1/76. Probably had what you needed.

It's ok. I just did the clearancing. It'll be pretty much unnoticable, even if you did take out the lights. I just find it amazing that they changed so many tiny things! I mean, to the average shmo, any round headlight rabbit would look the same. But it's like nearly every single part is a little different in some way.

noticed this also when I replaced my headlight buckets with new ones. My car was produced in 10/75
