How do we continue to attract new members to the SPS? Someone should bump the swallowtail thread on Vortex from time to time. I think we also need some other kind of promotion effort happening. Here's what I can think of so far: 1. Figure out what keywords are likely to get hits from swallowtail owners on the major search engines (like "vintage rabbit", "75 rabbit", "76 rabbit", "1975 golf", etc. Then start seeding the page with that stuff and submit it to the search engines. 2. Put links on our personal sites, and sig files wherever appropriate. Some people are already doing this, others of us are a little lazy. 3. Post on other VW or vintage german automobile related boards. 4. Search the web for other folks with old Rabbits/Golfs, no matter where they might be hiding. 5. Keeps your eyes open for early cars at VW shows. Keep some cheaply made flyers (photocopies?) in your car that you can stick under someone's windshield wiper. 6. If we manage to hit a critical mass of members, it will take off on its own. This benefits everyone, since we'll have a bigger network for finding things and get-togethers, and may even help create a market for repro Rabbit parts.

speaking of other cars. I saw a perfect 75 featured in The Golf 10/03, the yellow one with 13". I'll find some time to scan it. The owner is Richard Linssen from Beegden, Netherlands. Anyone knows him?
