When I first started up the oddity list, I didn't know much about what's odd and what's not. After the list has piled up, I found that I have quite a few odd things. I have an idea if we can make a check list based on information we already have and find out what oddity our cars have. May be we can track down how long an option or design last.
What do you guys think?

I am in for this. One possible problem is that my car isn't really all that complete... So it may have had options/oddities that I can't list...
But I am all for it. I have also been considering re-ordering the oddities list the be a little less scattered...

I'm not so good with web design but I'll try arranging the oddity list and find a way to do the check list. Probably in spreadsheet format.

I do hold a catalog from the VW museum. Its dated 1999 and I believe they dont sell those any more. Basically its a printed version of ETKA. But its only for the early Golf/Scirocco modells. And next to the part numbers VW most times lists the VIN period, that the parts where fitted. Tell me what part you want to know about and I will check it out. It is appr. 220 pages so may only scan specific pages for those that need them.

Hey, that's good stuff. I'll definitely need some info in the future from that print.
Anyway, I think about it as something to get the list organized. And just to have some fun. Haven't had time to think about it though. What do you think? Is it possible?
