This is not good. Not a single thread has been posted in over a month. Anybody have any new updates?
My '75 will be going to the media blaster within the next month. Floorboard repair has begun. Turns out it wasn't nearly has bad as I had expected. I'll post pictures here during the media blasting phase.

Yeah, this site hasn't exactly taken off, has it?
My car has all the suspension attached and some wheels and tires. Windshield is in, headliner and wiring are partially done. I'm taking a break from that stuff to build the motor, which is going pretty slowly. Partly because it's so hot here. I still have a lot of work to do. Brakes have to be plumbed, wiring finished, interior, motor, lights, fuel injection all have to be installed. And I still don't have any of the car painted except for the shell, which needs touch up and wet sanding. I'll be lucky if this project doesn't hit the 2 year mark before I'm driving it.

Man, you are so far ahead of me. I'm hoping to have it completed by this time next year. I've only had the car for 5 years. In that time I've been collecting parts. Glad someone is making some progress. I'd like to get the boxes and boxes of parts back on my car. Running out of room in the shop.
Now I'm looking for a non-tinted windshield (white glass). Yea.

One of the problems I'm having is that I can't justify parting another swallowtail to build mine. I'm just using the tinted windshield. It doesn't seem to be as tinted as the rest of the late glass, because I can barely tell.
And in other news, paint and body work may resume on monday. Cross your fingers with me?

Yeah, this site hasn't exactly taken off, has it? Very true. It is tough to beat the Vortex. It is just too many things to keep up with. The site itself still serves as a nice reference, and does manage to keep Swallowtail people together. It has also had the nice side effect or raising awareness.
